Market research by the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) company, NetCallidus, has found that British Airways website is the “best performing UK airline website” and has been key to its record profits.
The two key reasons for the site’s performance were the number of pages indexed by Google (147,000 in comparison to Virgin’s 3,240) and the number of high quality inbound links (214,192 in comparison to Virgin’s 24,674).
