According to a Hitwise Intelligence report many British consumers are looking for ways to cut their expenditure due to the weakening economy, decrease in house prices and the rising cost of living.

One would expect these factors to stop consumers from spending money on travel.  This however, is not the case.  Instead consumers are searching for “all inclusive holidays” at budget prices.  See graph below.
