Speaking at Indaba, Google’s Stafford Masie predicted that within the next 18 months to 2 years South Africa Internet dam would burst as braodband prices are radically reduced.
At the popular session, Google painted a clear picture of what the world is experiencing online and how South Africa is behind the curve. This is likely to change next year as the cost of broadband should plummet and quality improve with the introduction of the undersea cable.
