Cape Town Routes Unlimited and Cape Town Tourism have introduced an ambassadors programme.  What a great idea.  It could really be taken to the next level if they introduced the same concept online.

Using an online social networking environment this idea could become a  powerful tool.  Missing from those selected at the event was someone influential in the online world.   

Opportunity missed.
