UpTake logoUpTake, an information search engine, will launch their travel-opinion supersite on 14 May.  The goal is to gather travellers opinions from across travel sites and create a single comprehensive research tool on their site.

UpTake intends to make life easier for these uncertain travellers by presenting all information needed on their site.  UpTake’s database will be able to ask travellers questions like why they are travelling and who they are travelling with, to better assist them.

There is a market for a travel research service, but building up a user base will not be easy for a start-up like UpTake in a very competitive market with established players including tripadvisor and holidaysuncovered.
